Conference Moving Humanties

October 31 - November 1

We are pleased to announce that the Moving Humanities Conference will be held at the University of Groningen on October 31st and November 1st.  Organised by Radboud University and the University of Groningen, this conference brings together master’s students, PhD candidates, and scholars from various fields within the  humanities. This year’s theme is Resistance, both in research topics and within the humanities. Each day of the conference will feature a keynote speaker, four short talks, and a poster session.

Day 1 will include a debate, with keynote speaker Prof. Dr. Antoon de Baets, Emeritus Professor of History, Ethics and Human Rights.

Day 2 will feature a panel discussion, with keynote speaker Dr. Josias Tembo, a specialist in Critical Philosophy of Race, African Philosophy, Postcolonial and Decolonial Theories, and Gender Studies.

The conference will take place at the Oude Boteringestraat 52 in Groningen. Coffee, tea and lunch will be provided.
