Henk te Velde resigned from the General Board of the RSPH

Henk te Velde, one of the founders of the Political History Research School, has resigned from the General Board of the RSPH. His significance for the development of the RSPH can hardly be overestimated. We particularly mention his efforts as an academic director of the school and his commitment to internationalization.

He was a driving force behind the founding and development of the Association for Political History. He also represented Leiden University on the general board of the OPG years, was involved in various educational activities and the organization of several large State of the Art conferences organized by the OPG. As of March 1, he will act as interim dean of the Leiden Faculty of Humanities.
