On Saturday 19 November 2022, a diverse and inspiring group of internationally renowned thinkers, artists, academics and politicians will be taking the stage of the National Opera & Ballet in Amsterdam for the Nexus Conference 2022. The theme of this year’s conference is ‘The War and the Future’, and revolves around questions such as: Why is our history scarred by wars? Can we imagine a time without war, and what do we need to get there? What does the geopolitical future of Europe and of the world look like? Speakers include the American four-star admiral William Fallon, Polish politician Radek Sikorski, prizewinning Hungarian writer László Krasznahorkai and contemporary thinkers such as Achille Mbembe, Bruno Maçães, Kishore Mahbubani and Lea Ypi.
