This fourth module focuses on the increasing use of digital techniques for researching both analogue and digital texts, which requires a new research methodology in which traditional historical knowledge is closely interwoven with digital skills.

Together with an interdisciplinary team of political historians and information scientists from the Huygens Institute, you will engage with this methodological challenge through case studies and discussion, exploring how to find, critically assess, contextualize, and prepare complex historical sources for political history research.
