Call for Panels, Papers and Posters APH Conference 2026

The APH Conference 2026 is titled “Dynamizing and Decentring Empires: A Recalibration of the History of the Political” and will be held at University of Münster, 11-13 June 2026. The Association for Political History (APH), Research School for Political History (RSPH/OPG), Utrecht University: Security History Network/History of International Relations (SHN), University of Münster: Centre for Imperial Studies (CES) and ZNS Centre for Dutch Studies are calling for submissions of papers, panels and posters. Bijeenkomst The Eighties: juridisering van het vluchtelingenbeleid

Op dinsdag 18 november vindt tussen 12.30 en 13.30 de volgende bijeenkomst plaats van onderzoeksgroep The Eighties: Austerity, Reform, Conflict. Te gast is historicus Karin van Leeuwen, universitair docent Europese politieke geschiedenis aan Maastricht University. Zij zal spreken over haar onderzoek naar de juridisering van politiek beleid in de jaren tachtig, in het bijzonder het vluchtelingen- en asielbeleid van de kabinetten-Lubbers. Rowin Jansen, universitair docent Algemene rechtswetenschap, zal een eerste reactie geven.
