This two-day international workshop aims to reassess the quality and agency of the Spanish Netherlands as a state in the late seventeenth century. Organised by the Chair for Flemish History in collaboration with the Belgienzentrum of the University of Paderborn, the event brings together researchers from across Europe to explore how the Spanish Netherlands navigated the complex realities of early modern power politics, war, and state formation.

Het collegejaar is ten einde. Dat betekent: tijd om uitzonderlijke scripties te eren met de Algemene Rekenkamerscriptieprijs. Deze prijs beloont excellente master- en postmasterscripties met een cijfer van 8 of hoger, afgerond aan een Nederlandse universiteit in het afgelopen collegejaar.

Deze prijs bestaat onder meer uit een geldbedrag van € 2.000, € 1.000 of € 500.

De prijzen zijn bedoeld voor (voormalige) studenten die in het academisch jaar 2024/2025 afstuderen in een masteropleiding van een Nederlandse instelling voor wetenschappelijk onderwijs.
