The OPG module Advanced Research Design: Presenting and Defending Your Thesis has been redesigned. The new format is a two-day program with an overnight stay, replacing the previous one-day event. In this format, we offer you the opportunity to indulge yourself for two days and fully focus on your PhD while also socially engage with fellow OPG-members.
During the module, participants present their research and an audience of peers and discussants with relevant expertise. This setup provides targeted feedback from both experienced scholars and fellow PhD candidates, creating space to address challenges, uncertainties, and questions beyond your usual academic environment. There will also be ample time to share experiences on how to respond to scholarly comments and how to best prepare for such events.
Eligibility:
- Open to all third-year PhD candidates (including those who attended the previous one-day version).
- Fourth- and fifth-year PhD candidates are also encouraged to participate.
Registration closes on 15 December – secure your spot via bureau@onderzoekschoolpolitiekegeschiedenis.nl
